2010 Legislative Issue

We conducted a series of Tele Town Hall events into targeted Congressional Districts the weekend of the Health Care Reform House vote.

The events lasted an average of 50 minutes, and over 73,000 participants joined the live events. 

Tele Town Hall not only serves the official or candidate well in staying aligned with the will of the people, but it allows average Americans to exercise their voice on legislation that will impact their health and pocketbook.

Obama gripes about filibusters in a year with none… after having 60 seats in the Senate.

Radio host Hugh Hewitt caught this one after Obama met with Democrats in Congress, following his televised meeting with House Republicans.

Obama complained about all of the filibusters conducted by the GOP in 2009. ''You had to cast more votes to break filibusters last year than in the entire 1950s and 1960s combined. That's 20 years of obstruction jammed into just one.''

How many filibusters were there? Exactly zero.
